How Many Hats Is Your Real Estate Sales Manager Wearing?

Would you rather have a real estate sales agent that only sells real estate or a real estate agent that has a full time job and sells real estate part-time? Why?

Well, how many different jobs are you asking your real estate sales manager to do? Or are your real estate sales manager’s doing everything part-time?

I see many real estate company’s were the real estate manager is,

  • the broker in charge
  • the trainer
  • the staff supervisor
  • the office manager
  • the real estate coach
  • the janitor
  • a competing sales agent
  • the office therapist
  • the recruiter

And yet the broker/owner keeps wondering why recruiting goals are not met, why production isn’t increasing, and why the trash cans are overflowing. In these types of real estate company’s it is truly a matter of expectations not matching environment. 

Even if your real estate sales manager is doing all these tasks “good”, I guarantee that they are doing none of them “great”. What, if your sales manager did “great” would have the biggest benefit to your real estate company?

My Neck Hurts

The chiropractor said I have scar tissue that keeps pulling me out of alignment. He could realign me but, I will have to keep coming back in every so often, as I will go out of alignment again and again, until my body gets use to the correct alignment.

The pain in my neck, shoulders and even around my collar bone was ridiculous. I wasn’t able to sleep, it was causing headaches and even nausea. Just because a couple little bones in my neck had moved ever so slightly.

Your real estate company can get out of alignment. It can be ever so slight, but it can be painful, that is for sure.

Does it feel like something is not right in your company? Do you feel frustration? Burnout? Do you see it in others? Your real estate company could be out of alignment and you might need an adjustment to POP everything back in to place.

There are many things that need to be aligned. There are all sorts of tiny vertebrae that make up a real estate company but a couple obvious ones:

  • Mission, Vision, Values of your company
  • Leadership team
  • Company staff
  • Real Estate Agents

Are you having any pain in you neck, shoulders or back area? Are you having trouble sleeping? Headaches and nausea? You could be out of alignment and I’m not talking about your neck or back.
