The SCEF Recruiting System®

Select-Connect-Evaluate-Facilitate

“Discover what they want; don’t tell them what they need.” -Darin Persinger

The SCEF Recruiting System is a four step recruiting process

The first step is:

Select

Who do you want to target? How do you decide? SCEF Recruiting System gives you the right questions you should be asking to help you decide who is your target recruit.

The second step is:

Connect

How do you connect with a Top Producer? Do you talk about work? Family? The SCEF Recruiting System makes it easy.

The third step is:

Evaluate

How do you evaluate their business? What questions do you ask in a Needs Analysis? The SCEF Recruiting System gives you great interview questions with out sounding like you are interrogating.

The final step is:

Facilitate

The goal of the Transition Facilitation Process is to get the agent to start thinking about moving their business, what and how that would look and feel like. This is intending to speed up the process, instead of waiting for them to be unhappy with their current situation. The Transition Facilitation Process is a series of questions designed to help the recruit self discover and develop their own transition plan. The questions should start with “what” or “how”.

“A recruiter is just a salesperson with a crummy budget.” Dr. John Sullivan

Recruiting Sources

There are 14 main recruiting sources. There eight main sources for unlicensed agents and eight main sources for experienced/licensed agents, with a couple of the sources overlapping each other.

The Ambassadors Council

The recruiter, manager and broker will find it helpful to develop an Ambassadors Council inside the office or company to help with the growth/recruiting strategy.

    The Daily 6 Point Plan

The goal of a SCEF recruiter is to be talking to agents continuously, consistently and systematically. A great way to do that is with the Daily 6 Point Plan. This plan can be adjusted depending on the recruiter’s other responsibility’s, such as managing, training, etc. might only be a 3 or 4 point plan.

    SCEF Recruiter’s Schedule

A SCEF Recruiter’s schedule should be built around achieving The 6 Point Daily Plan.Like the 6 Point Daily Plan, the schedule can be adjusted depending on other responsibilities the SCEF Recruiter might have but the three focus areas should be committed to daily.

“Not only should you provide value to your people, you should value your people.” Darin Persinger

    Action Plans

A SCEF Recruiter uses action plans to be purposeful and systemic in their approach to recruiting. We have created action plans that cover everything from Getting An Appointment, Meeting For 1st Time, to Sign On Day.

    Scripts

A SCEF Recruiter knows what to say, how to get appointments and how to interview a recruit. A SCEF Recruiter does not get objections or rejections because the SCEF Recruiting System is based upon relationship building, value providing and facilitation of the recruiting process.
